On 03/10/2025, Skyler Whitt (37) of Benton KY, was arrested and served an indictment warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court charging him with rape 3rd degree and sodomy 3rd degree.

Those are both Felony charges.

Marshall County Daily was the first source to locally break the news – and they didn’t mention it until 4 days later… in a very long list of other offenders.

Mr. Whitt has strong familial ties to this area – likely the reason behind the delay, as well as the fact that his name was next to the bottom on the listing… despite the heinous crimes he is alleged to have committed.

Well over a month later – nothing has changed.

This man retains 50/50 custody of his underage children.
Remarkably – this was a decision made by a Marshall County Judge, seemingly with a straight face.
